Уход за газоном осенью

Осенью надо подготовить газон к зимовке, в это время с поверхности лужайки надо убрать опавшие листья, провести ремонт поврежденных участков, удобрить газон и провести аэрацию для участков, подтопляемых во время осенних дождей.

Ремонт

Во время летней жары на газоне часто появляются выгоревшие участки, в осенний период их можно восстановить путем подсевания травы. Засеять такие прорехи можно частично или полностью по аналогии с весенним подсевом.

Подкормка

Осенью рекомендуется удобрять газон фосфорно-калийными минеральными подкормками. Фосфор укрепит корневую систему травы и обеспечит устойчивость к негативным факторам внешней среды, что является самым важным для обеспечения нормальной зимовки газона. При удобрении газона в осенний период следует воздержаться от внесения азота, этот элемент вызовет активный рост молодой травы, которая погибнет при заморозках.

Аэрация газона

Осенью, во время проливных дождей, на газоне часто образуются лужи, стоячая вода может привести к загниванию газона. Для того, чтобы избежать вымокания газона, в сухую погоду рекомендуется прокалывать поверхность садовыми вилами, эта процедура обогатит корни травы кислородом и будет способствовать лучшему впитыванию дождевой воды.

Последняя стрижка

Последняя стрижка газона за сезон проводится в конце октября, высота травы при этом должна составлять не менее 5 см.
