Уход за газоном летом

Основной уход за газоном в летний период - это стрижка и полив, второстепенные – подравнивание краев, прополка, подкормка и аэрация.

Стрижка

Желательно подстригать газон 1-2 раза в неделю, эта мера служит не только для поддержания декоративных качеств, но и для сокращения роста сорняков, которые не переносят частой стрижки. После этих процедур газонная трава начинает лучше куститься. В жаркие летние дни скашивание рекомендуется проводить косилкой без травосборника: скошенная трава на поверхности газона уменьшит испарение влаги.

Полив

Сразу после стрижки рекомендуется полив газона. В сухую и жаркую погоду количество поливов необходимо увеличить. Поливать газон лучше в вечернее время суток,  это поможет уменьшить испарение и снизить потерю влаги. Прямые солнечные лучи наносят ожоги побегам через капли воды, которые действуют как линзы. В жару может произойти выгорание газона, увядание и засыхание побегов, при этом рекомендуется обильно полить газон, избегая при этом образование луж. Один или 2 обильных полива лучше, чем частые и поверхностные.

Подкормка

Особенно важно удобрять газон летом, т.к. регулярные стрижки снижают запас питательных элементов. Для этого можно использовать жидкие органические удобрения или специальные комплексные азотсодержащие удобрения для подкормки газона в летний период. Можно сделать подкормку внесением комплексных удобрений, если наблюдается увядание растений или потеря зеленого блеска.

Подравнивание краев

Придавать форму травяному покрову необходимо и по краям. Для того, чтобы газон выглядел аккуратно, проводят подравнивания краев лужайки, особенно следует обратить внимание на труднодоступные места, куда не достают ножи газонокосилки. Ровные края повышают декоративность газона, даже если он не идеален.

Для подравнивания краев используются садовые ножницы с широкими ножами и длинными ручками, можно воспользоваться и другими специализированными приспособлениями, которые имеются в продаже в Ульяновске. Садовые ножницы с короткими ручками удобнее использовать для подрезки газона возле кустов или других элементов ландшафтной композиции.

Как правило, даже у небольших газонов разрушаются края, эту проблему можно решить с помощью установки бордюров. В качестве материалов для бордюров используются бетонные перегородки, пластиковые или алюминиевые полосы.
