Растения для южных окон

Южные окна - одно из самых неблагоприятных мест в помещении для выращивания растений. Прямые солнечные лучи угнетают комнатные цветы, поэтому на солнечных окнах растения часто выглядят дряблыми, на них появляются выжженные коричневые пятна и засохшие участки на листьях и цветках, в конце-концов растение может погибнуть. Хотя, при этом солнце - это один из самых важных условий для роста любой формы растительности. Большинство комнатных растений на наших подоконниках родом из влажных тропиков, где солнечные лучи не могут пробиться через крону и растения всегда закрыты от палящей жары. Поэтому, при выращивании тропических растений следует приблизить условия их содержания к естественным. Это не значит, что южные окна необитаемы в принципе. На них можно успешно выращивать растения, обитающие в пустыне, полупустыне или терновниках. Не забудьте только о своевременном поливе.

На южных окнах можно выращивать:

  • кактусы и суккуленты
  • молочай
  • амариллисовые (гиппеаструм, амариллис, кливия, нерина)
  • хлорофитум
  • сансевиерию
  • толстянку
  • бокарнею

Если вы решитесь выращивать на южном окне другие виды комнатных растений, менее устойчивые к прямым солнечным лучам, можно:

  • оклеить окно светоотражающей или автомобильной пленкой
  • установить на окнах узкие горизонтальные жалюзи, с помощью которых можно регулировать интенсивность падающих на растение лучей солнца
  • не использовать южное окно в летний период - весной, осенью и зимой многим растениям довольно комфортно на южных окнах
  • поставить рядом с южным окном журнальный столик или этажерку, куда перенести горшки с цветами
  • многие растения на южных окнах страдают в основном из-за перегрева горшка и земли, для того, чтобы этого избежать, можно поставить горшок с растением в кашпо с низкой теплопроводностью и большим зазором между стенками
